Snack and Water Policy
Water: Students may bring a water bottle that closes (either cap or pull top) to keep at their desk if they choose.
Snack: We have an open snack policy which means students can bring snack and eat it when they need to at their desk as long as they aren't working on their Chromebook.
Our snack policy across third grade asks that snacks students bring in be fruit, vegetable, dairy or protein. Some examples of snacks that students can bring include apples, applesauce, grapes, fruit cups, carrots & dip, celery, pickles, slim jims, beef jerky, cheese sticks, yogurt, raisins, etc
We ask that students not bring in items like cereal, chips, crackers, pretzels etc because we have a nut free policy and those snacks have a tendency to be messy and noisy.
